Backup Camera Question

I've noticed (having just seen a commercial for the MDX and having been in a TL) they both have a yellow parking assist outline when the reverse camera is on. My TSX doesn't. Does yours?

Nope my doesn't. I think it has to do with the fact that the TSX is not that big compared to a MDX or TL.

^ Exactly

Though I was thinking about painting striped on my screen so that I can backup with the camera better - lol.

The visibility in the TSX is pretty good and the camera is great to verify what's directly behind you and approximate distance. It is a good replacement for backup sensors but that's it. Really, parking assist lines are more valuable on larger vehicles or vehicles that park themselves. Though I like the backup camera I think maybe we have gone too far in assistance to the driver.

I wish they would invent/add something that would keep morons from dinging my car with their doors. I can avoid hitting things when I park.

The backup camera is great but the depth perception if off. If I look at the camera it looks like the car behind me is far away, but when I turn around and look out the window the car is right there.

I was surprised to see the RDX loaner I had recently had the yellow assist lines. Maybe the '11 TSX will as well?

it's cool that it doesn't have it or anything, I can park without it but just thought it was odd that other Acura's did have it. Figured maybe it was defect.
