Aftermarket sound quality...

hi guys i had a nice mtx sound system that was in my winter car hooked up to an aftermarket sony reciever....i have now transfered everything into the tsx, and im using and mtx re-q to try an clean up the signal...in my opinion it still doesn't sound as great as when it was recieving power from the sony, because these stock receivers limit frequencies...any other options guys?

What TSX do you have? 1st gen, 2nd gen Base, ELS? What did you hook up and how did you do it?

The Honda Premium HUs I have tested do not limit any frequencies.

i just read somewhere on a-zine theres a vendor with an adaptor that give 4 nice highquality rca output to plug stright into our aftermarket amps, but that was for the older tsx's im hoping theres something like this for our new generation as well...

I designed the 1 st TSX adapter but the 2nd gen ELS is totally different. I’m working on it but for now if you are just adding an amp for the sub then just come off the sub wires and forget the reQ.
