After some time are you glad you upgraded your stereo?

I would like to thank everyone for all the DIY post of upgrading there stock head units to a double din after market one. It has made it very easy to find out what's needed.

To those who have done so are still happy you did? I have all the components selected and am about ready to place the order I am just worried it will take away from the stock look of the interior. Any regrets out there?

Thanks for the advice!!!

At first i missed having all the busy buttens in the centre console, but now that ive had my double din for quite some time - everything seems normal again. Everything sort of flows well.

Overall, its a great upgrade. Sound quality was greatly improved, added navigation to a a non tech, backup cam, equalizer, easy pre outs if you want to add amps in the future.

I am glad to an extent. The sound quality has greatly improved, but my hearing is slowly declining & certain parts in my car are falling apart, lmao. My sunglass holder no longer stays closed Thanks to the bass from my W7. As long as you keep it mediocre, you shouldn't have this problem. I just love ear piercing vocals and heart pounding bass.

I did not, and that is partly the reason why a lot of things are falling apart/rattling lol. And I purchased a dsp but never got around to installing it... just a LOC for now.
