Just wondering if there is any way to get the windows to roll up with the key fob, and also wanted to know if there is a way to keep the engine running when started with the remote start and unlock the doors.

 

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

You can roll down the windows and moonroof simply by holding the unlock button on the keyfob, however, to close the windows and moonroof from the outside, you need to insert the key into the driver's door, turn once to lock and turn again and hold to close all the windows.

I don't know much about the remote starter as I drive a 6MT model. My understanding is that the engine will stop once you unlock the car, it should also stop if you move the shift lever out of the P position; unlock or open the doors or the trunk lid; open the hood; insert the key in the ignition switch or press the brake pedal.

 

I know the engine will keep running if you unlock the doors with the remote starter, I haven't tried to opened them with key yet

 

Are you sure you don't have an aftermarket remote starter?

Acura remote starter transmitter only has three buttons (Command / Start/ Stop), no open or close buttons to lock or unlock doors.

 

just to clarify, you cannot unlock the doors with the standard key fob, unless you first stop the engine with the remote start.

 

I didn't know Acura had their own remote stater, mine is aftermarket
