2 Questions: Navigation instructions volume and automatic climate control

Now that the weather's finally warmed up an I can open the windows and sunroof on my TSX for the first time, I've come across 2 things:

1) When on the highway with the windows open, I can't hear the navigation lady's instructions. I can hear my music because that's coming out of all speakers, but instructions seem to only be coming out of that single center speaker on the dash. The only way I know I need to exit or whatever is because I can hear it turn down the volume of the music for a second while she speaks, alerting me to look at the screen and see what I need to do. Seems to defeat the purpose of her barking instructions if I have to take my eyes off the road. I was looking in the menus to see if there was an option to have instructions come out of all speakers or turn up the volume on that without turning up the music volume, but I couldn't find one. Maybe I missed it though.

2) I have the climate control set to automatic at 72 degrees. With the windows open, I'm pretty sure it's turning the A/C on. I know it will do whatever it needs to maintain that 72, but I guess I learned at an early age that having the A/C running with the windows open is wasteful. Is there a way to have it keep the A/C off while keeping everything else automatic?

Check in the manual for question 1, I stopped listening after a month!

As for 2, press the A/C button on the control panel once and you will see 'A/C Off' next to the temperature display for the passenger side.
The auto temp control will still work, but obviously won't cool once the outside temp gets above 72.
