As the title suggests, I want to see if I can install a 2008 (3rd Gen) TL rear view mirror in place of the one that comes standard on the TSX. Don't ask why, I just like the look of it better (oval).

Part number for the TL is: 76400-SEP-A02ZA

and part number for the TSX is: 76400-SEC-A12

They look to be pretty much identical in the way they're set up, but figured I'd ask and see if anyone here knew if it'd work?

 

I'll answer my own question here - it won't work. My Acura dealer actually had one of these mirrors in stock, so he sat in my car, looked at it and said it wouldn't work. Not only do they mount in different places, but evidently the one I was after is automatic and the one in the TSX is an off and on, which I guess have different power levels.

So anyway...
