water spots on chrome

damp wet cloth or chamois right after a wash should do the trick, otherwise I'm sure some company has some type of product that should do the trick.

Real chrome or plastic chrome? Coated or not? Try a vinegar water mix to remove the stains, then wax.

I just washed mine yesterday and I got these extra soft microfiber cloths from Harbor Freight. If you have one near you check it out... Or go here http://www.harborfreight.com/microfi...f-2-68448.html . It's a 2 pack of white microfiber towels and it looks like really short faux fur... kinda like the material they use inside nice laptop sleeves. When I dried with this it broke up any water beads so there was not enough surface area for it to spot. I used a mild car soap and I washed and dried with these cloths. Worked great. Because they're white and sort of fluffy feeling I threw them in the washer on rinse & spin before using. They dry really easy, and wring out easily as well. I found maybe a dozen little white fibers on the car after I was finished, but I just blew on them and that took care of it.

I've noticed my wifes "chrome" around the windows has little rust like water marks in some spots. Will have to try and remove those this weekend.
