Which VLED Tail Light Model to Choose?

I want to get LEDs for my taillights off of VLEDS, but there are two options and I'm not sure which would be the correct version for my TSX?

I don't know what the difference is between a Standard Base and CK Base

RED 21 LED 7443 7440 STANDARD BASE | 1 PAIR
RED 21 LED 7443 CK BASE | 1 PAIR

Any help would be appreciated!

TIA

2 things --

1. I would only get the "TRITON V3" LEDs from VLED, otherwise they'll be dimmer than the standard bulbs.

2. no need to get red if the lens of the light is already red.

btw there's a video to tell CK vs STD -- same as the pics in above link tho

Thank you!

Well, I keep getting rear-ended. The accident this month is my 3rd in ~5 years. I was hoping LEDs will make people keep away more or at least make their eyes sore and keep a farther distance behind me. I don't like driving behind cars with LED tail lights and I switch lanes.

Any suggestion on LEDs that would make the tail lights even brighter?

I saw a youtube video with someone demoing those LEDs on an Accord and it looked pretty bright to me...

buy a strobe module for your tail lights, some high end vehicles have this built in, it flashes your brake lights like a strobe light a couple of times to make it more noticeable

I installed the triton v3s ambers for rear turn signals (because I don't like the egg yolk look); they're definitely brighter....nothing super blinding, but def brighter.

i can second the exLED brake lights. most leds you buy off ebay look dimmer in the brake housing but the exLED ones are brighter. this is their second take at it and it's clear they've done their research. i will be posting a review of them soon. once the weather gets better and i can take more pics. i can't seem to find my oem brake lights. if i can, i'd like to take a stock vs exLED brake light like the above pic.
