Vinyl Grill/Door Handles

So, the local vinyl shop quoted me $250 for vinyling the grill and door handles. I find it way to expensive, I am looking for a good colour matching gloss black for my black tsx. Any recommendations of where to buy a high quality vinyl to attempt it myself.

Do you think I should mask off the grill or remove it?

If you're plasti dipping it just stick a piece of cardboard behind the grill so you dont get any on the condenser. Then just mask off around the grill leaving about an inch border from the edge of the grill to the tape. Search a bit and you will find some methods used by other members on here

just buy some gloss black vinyl online.
put it on top of the hood for like 10 mins on a hot day. (this makes the material easier to work with)
clean the grill with alcohol.
place vinyl on grill.
crease the corners with your fingernails.
cut with razor
its VERY easy.
the hardest part is the cut out for the emblem.
just push that area in a little bit to get the outline.
stick a xacto knife in and cut around.

just dont hesitate. smooth strokes get good results.

the door handles are a little trickier but done the same way.
i did mine but took it off. i didnt like the way it looked. unless you plan on doing the window trim too, it wont look right imo.

good luck

you wont find a exact match in vinyl. they dont make vinyl wraps with pearl in it.

gloss black didnt look that great to me so i went with the carbon look.
