Unknown setting in audio menu? SVC
I have the TSX 2nd gen with Tech package, and I read the (very thick) manual, and I can't seem to find out what the "SVC" mean. It has high, med, low, and off settings. SVC comes after Dolby Pro Logic II (after bass/treble/fade and speaker settings). Does anybody know what this setting is for?

This is the feature the controls the volume control. (Forgot what it actually stands for, Stereo Volume Control??) So when driving with the radio on the volume will increase when you drive faster to compensate for road noise and go back down when you slow down. You can set the sensitivity here.

I think it is funny that they added this to the car. My Company car has it (domestic brand) and I always felt that it was stupid and just implied poor vehicle sound engineering.
Rather than making the volume go up when the car goes faster, how about making the cabin stay as quiet at highway speeds as it is parked in my driveway without me having to add 10 lbs of Dynomat which should have been done at the factory. The domestic brands I've driven have needed this feature to overcome the huge volume adjutment required just to hear the radio when you get onto the highway from surface streets. My TSX not as much, but I do have it turned on to low. I'm wondering how many people actually use this feature and what setting they find is best.

WTH happened to my garage
I like High because I usually drive with my window down. Sometimes it's too much, but usually it's about right.
You'd only add 10 lbs of Dynamat? Shoot, it'd take me two or three 50lb(?) bulk packs of Extreme to do the car the way I'd want to. =) No, I don't much care about the added weight either.

I find it annoying as hell, so I turned mine off. I don't like it choosing what volume I want, and having to keep fighting with it when I speed up or slow down on city streets.
