TSX w/ Tech pkg. wagon buy attempt 2
Well you may recall me posting the White wagon i tried getting last month. The payment wasnt what i wanted. Now this month, my friend who is the used car manager, is back at my dealer. The called offering me a grey wagon. It's listed for 28k but offered me it for 25.5k. All the numbers etc are in the link. My buddy even want to give me adjusted numbers on my trade 08 TL. I'm taking it by there tomorrow.
What say you? Any question please send them.

That's like my car.
It is difficult to advise on prices because much depends on what they are giving you for your trade. Are they valuing your trade above Edmunds average trade in? Does part of the deal include moving your accessibility devices to the new car? Are you getting the best financing you qualify for?
On its own, $25,5 isn't the greatest price given the mileage. A local DC dealer recently was advertising a certified GLM Tech wagon with 10k miles (a loaner) for $25,5 and it went pretty quickly - the dealer offered me the same car a couple of weeks earlier for $28k.
OTOH, there aren't many certified wagons in your area and the price isn't far out of line. Perhaps you can get them to "throw in" a few items like the trunk liner (with a handy fold out flap to keep the bumper from getting scratched when putting stuff in the trunk), body side molding, winter mats or the like.
You may also want to ask them to either throw in - or give you dealer cost - on the Acura extended certified warranty. Unlike new Acura warranties that can be bought at a number of online sources, the extended warranties for certified can only be purchased from the selling dealer.
Keep us posted and provide photos once you've got it.

I agree with Ceb on this one. I had LOTS of trouble trying to get them to throw in accessories. In the end, they were rude and I walked and found a better deal.
As Ceb stated, $25.5k as it sits doesn't sound like a great deal. I was convinced on here that it being certified doesn't matter much because Acura has great reliability and if something does go wrong, it'll be cheaper to fix than most other luxury cars. Plus, I'm sure there's still a factory warranty on it.
Keep us updated on what your experience is. Also, if you're financing through them, make sure to shop around and see how much they're offering you. The dealer I went to straight-up told me that I had a very strong rate from outside and they won't be able to beat it (since they do it to make some margin).

If the price doesn't include moving the accessibility devices and you qualify for the .9% new car financing, then you may want to consider a new one too. Acura provides $1k towards accessibility devices and $31k (with a couple of options) for a tech wagon is not uncommon.
