TSX Pearl Grill Paintmatch

I know I'm late but I am in the process of looking for someone to paint my grill and actually do a good job. I'm only worried that nobody will be able to match the pearlish white close enough. I've called a few places and they are turning me down due to the material of the grill and them not being able to guarantee it will come out decent(Better that than someone experiment with my car). Any Advice on this or does anyone have a TSX with a paint-matched grill preferably white/pearl with pictures.

Here's the thing. If you're not in FL Nexon and Savclaude would prob not get a perfect match since they can't see the car in person.

I take all my grilles to the local acura dealer to see how the color match came out.

^Lol that's pretty neat that you go out there to compare them but white does yellow up as it ages. That being said I'm assuming his car is a 2012-2013 so his paint is still "fresh" and new so a dealership probably will match 100%. GL with w/e choice you choose

Unfortunately I'm a 2009 so the color may be slightly off with 4 years of age

if you give savclaude the full color code including the tint from inside the drivers door he can match you up.

he did a PEERFECT MATCH on my GLM door handles.

If I had something to paint that was really big, say my bumper or roof or w/e I would def take my stuff to him, he's the MAN! But I also live in FL so that makes sense, seems pretty cray to get something paint matched like 5 states away and pay for shipping to and from.

That's because we have dark colors that don't really show age and matching is NP. Do you remember alpwinejnondsdi something with the glacier blue car? Savclaude painted his rear bumper and it was not 100% match. He even told him since he cannot see the car in person he cannot blend the edges accurately but he wanted it done anyways. Just so you know.

I'm not bashing on anyone. Savclaude painted my engine covers, grille, and front lip and has done a fantastic job. Nexson has been around the forum and people also love his work so you cant go wrong with them. Not being local is your problem.

There is alot of people that do good work, whomever you feel most comfortable with will be the right choice.

i agree that local is best. Actually when you talk about blending I know some about it. I bought I hood for my jeep and HAD TO do a blend to match.....it was mineral grey metallic....lighter than GLM and metallic too.

Remote works for small parts as LOTS of us have seen. Even then there is risk but some mismatch wont show if parts do not LINE UP NEXT TO OEM PAINT.

sorry if earleir I made it sound like savinski was superman LOL he is a very straight up guy though and a great resource/
