do you have the part nos. for them from IJDM? also- how hard to install- need to remove anything to get to bulb? Do they work well as high beams? Have interior and license plate LED's and love them.

they are these
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r2.htm

the gray tsx in the pic is mine

its not hard to install, just take out oem drls, plug the led drls in with resistor, then works fine.

highbeams do NOT work, however

Hey Ed, I have a noob question

When I search RL I get two kits, same listing, different prices, and different models.

Any thoughts?

i believe the tl/tl-s and the tsx has different bulb size, thats why they have two different links and sets? im not quite sure...do you konw what size your RL is?

i have leds for my fogs, i would love to put them in for my drl's but i dont want to loose my high beams.
i am thinking about changing them to white anyways. but the bulbs i found have one filament. is that what the current bulb has? or are there 2 filaments, one for drl and one for high beam

drl and high beam are the same bulb. but if you change the drl to LED, high beam willl not work

Its the 9005, thats why the description was a little confusing as they were both listed as the 9005 replacement.

Ok, thanks for the info, now that I know the TSX and TL have a different set up I'll ask them which disabler/wiring is RL friendly.

oh..right haha i failed to see that they are listed as the same bulb size. then my guess would be because the resistors are different. but seeing how my assumption of the two bulbs are different is wrong...dont count me on that LOL

beware that although it claims to be white or cool blue or w/e, it'd probably turn out to be yellow. my nokya artic white drls are, indeed, yellow. just not as yellow as oem, the only way to have it white is with leds. hope that helps

Following up for the 2G RL people.

Thanks for your interest.

You will need the special decoders [R2], this will allow the DRL to function properly.

For any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know at anytime.

Take a video where u have the regular hid lights on, and then use the high beam. I think when you use the high beams w/o headlights on the regular lights turns on. I could be wrong though.

I'm a complete noob when it comes to this kind of thing, I even thought the LED was challenging to install so no HID for me. Now on to the LED fogs. I'm sure that wont be fun to get to, even though the manual makes it look easy.
