Yes, it's very easy. Just unplug the stock DRL's, connect the harness that comes with the LED DRL's to the stock one in your Tsx, then connect the decoder to one of the short pieces on LED harness. The only thing after this is to connect the longer side of the LED harness to the LED DRL bulbs and then put them back in the sockets.

One of the short pieces is not connected to anything? do you have a picture of your install? just wanted to see how you did it.

did you have to follow the manual and remove the cover on the driver side?

thanks.

That's correct. One of the short pieces will be free. I don't have any pictures but let me know if you really need them. As for as removing the cover, I didn't have to do that. I just unscrewed each DRL from the socket within the housing. The only thing I had to move was the white jug or thing that holds liquid on the passenger side.

Did this today...not that bad at all.

I tested the high beam, and it still work...although its daytime so I can't really see how bright it is in high beam.

i tied it to existing cables near the headlights and hopefully that's enough to keep them stable.

and also, I only moved the radiator fluid jug out of the way so I can remove the bulb and work easily on the passenger side.

thanks cjhighway!!

It was easy.

Pros:
It's not yellow, It's not like every other car out there.

Cons:
It's got a hint of blue, I wanted a white look but this is bluish.
High beams are a joke. I didnt expect them to work well though, It's still a con.
It's not that bright, in most cases you wont be able to see the light reflected off the car in front of you (during the day). I only notice them during dusk hours.

With that said, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I agree that one con is that they are too blue for me also but I still like them quite a bit. It does distinguish you from other vehicles too. It's funny you mention the reflection off of other cars because I was thinking about that too.

With that said, I agree with your statement though: I'd do it over again too.

Hey, I recently got this DRL kit from the jdmtoy site as described and even though I bought the "No Error" kit, it's still throwing up an error notice on my dash. I got the kit for my 07' Acura TL-S. Anyone having the same problems?

Nope but I'm willing to bet that you simply crossed the wires somewhere. For example, the stock harness that goes into your stock bulb should connect the the longer harness with the DRL kit and then you connect the decoder to one of the short harnesses leaving one dangling.

This should fix your problem.

Question what do you do with the extra harness length and the decoder now?

The decoder gets really hot is that a problem?

So I'm not sure but my resister/decoder gets extremely hot...hot enough to melt plastic/wires and I'm not really sure what to do.

If you guys want to maintain a good bright high beam fx go with the cree leds with the smd surrounding the bulbs. With the cree led bulbs you will have the light projecting our further than the standard led bulbs. I ordered something similar to the link below and I still have a bright drl with a brighter high beam but not as bright as the halogen.

This thread helped! Installed my set from iJDM toy today...their pretty bright and high beams still work and no error code. They don't really brighten the road but they def get you noticed.

Good question. Looks like the carid product is only the bulbs and the ijdmtoy comes with harness and decoder. From What I read the decoder is necessary in the 3G TL? I'm leaning that route!

Just ordered a pair from JDM. Super pumped to drop these bad boys in. Glad to see that they had some partial function as a high-beam. This thread was very useful. I'll post a few pics after install.

i like the idea of leds but i was thinking of these that way i dont lose the high beam function http://www.vleds.com/featured/cxa-led-headlights.html OR

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-9145-9140-H10-High-Power-COB-LED-HeadLight-40W-Fog-Light-Daytime-Running-Lamp-/360700833034?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53fb71ed0a

at the time i just dont have drl i took out the fuse and dont have any warning lights like i did in the rl and my tl. i think it looks more aggressive with out drl. Well thats my 2 cents.
