I have owned my 6 speed TSX for about an hour. So far it's lots of fun. I want to get a trailer hitch for a bike rack. Does anyone have suggestions?

 

Have you thought about a roof mounted one from someone like Thule. I don't think that a trailer hitch would look very good. That is just my opinon.

I personally wouldn't do a hitch on my car, period. Even the custom apps from a company like Reese will possibly require cutting a notch in the rear bumper cover. Bleck.

 

In Europe, Honda sells roof rack with bike mount attachment. Check with Acura if they can get you one.

 

Thanks guys. I guess the trunk rack is the best idea. I'm just a bit worried about paint damage. I have now had the car for two weeks and love it. Last night my 6 speed got 36 mpg on a 100 mile round trip. I was pretty happy about that.

 

You should be worried about paint damage! Those trunk racks scratch the $hit out of cars...

Saris Bones RS Trunk Rack -- Had it for a couple years now. Best trunk rack available. I've never had a problem with marring.
