Bought mine August of 09. Luckily/Unluckily (however you look at it) mine just went out on me last week and I just took care of it and mailed the forms in. Supposedly if you use the improved brake pad one, your settlement check will be more. Hopefully my process goes smoothly.

Yay...now onto fixing the cracked fog light...

Ya i went to my dealership 20k in back in late 09 early 10 something like that and they said that they wouldnt do it under warranty....loving the stealership....and for 80 bucks more i just replaced them with better ones and rotors too!

what deadline are you guys talking about?

i thought we had 3 cozy years from the date of purchase to do this shit and then like 30 days or w/e to mail in your receipt

I think after the court date was settled we had a certain amount of time to do the brake work i think it was like a month or two something like that i obviously missed it

There was a class action settlement for premature wear on rear brakes.

Not free, but if your vin is listed in the recall they'll reimburse you for the parts & labor...
