Speaker issues... anything else??

I'm about to pick up a 2010 PWP Tech car tomorrow. 2000 miles, certified, for $26,000 (local sale and traded back in for MDX..needed truck). Is the speaker issue resolved? I'm buying this thing basically for the NAV and electronics over an Audi. Any other issues I need to look out for?

do a search and you'll come across a few things.

most common are pinging and the premature brake wear issues.

Look at the last 6 digit of your vehicle VIN number, if it is higher than 006698, then you have the redesigned rear brake pads installed, otherwise, the old style (without V spring) will wear out somewhere around 12K - 20K miles. If the VIN number is between 000001- 006698, ask the dealer to put it in writing they will replace them with new ones, or else, under the class action lawsuit settlement, the most you can get back is $150 when a rear brake job cost anywhere between $180- $250 depending on the dealership.

Pinging issues or blown speakers, if they become a problem, are covered under the 4yrs/50K miles warranty.

^The VIN number refers to 2010 US Acura TSX model, not the Australian Honda Accord. I don't know what kind of brake pads are used down under.

All 2009 US Acura TSX has those older style brake pads and are covered by the class action settlement, so it's a good idea before buying an 09 or early 10 model to check if it has the new pads installed.
