Our 2011 TXS is extremely quiet. Not sure how it compares to the 2010 etc. but a question. I'm hearing what sounds like a slushing sound from behind me, and thinking it's gas in the gas tank slushing around? I've never heard that before in 46 years of driving cars. Mainly backing out of drive, gutter area etc. If normal i'll ignore, but curious.
Still early in driving experience with car, but getting about 24.5 mpg in local stop go, and minimal up to 50mph driving. With cold weather and the fact it was new in December 2010, hoping that's about right. 4 cyl/auto. And only a few hundred miles to date.

 

They still haven't fixed that problem?

yes, it's the gas tank. i have a 2010 and if my gas tank is full, i hear the same thing. listen to some music to block the sound out

 

Nothin, its just u can hear the gas in the gas tank moving around the tank when u r backing up/going up on a slight incline like a driveway or such. It just a minor sound issue, and its not really a big mechanical issue. lol

 

If this is the worst problem I ever have, I'm happy. :P I can hear everything in my truck. I have to say I don't ever notice in my 2010 V6.

 

Gas tank thing no biggee. As long as car runs like it does new for years to come it can slush all it wants. Just crank up AC/DC and off i go.

 

I've heard about owners experiencing the gas sloshing around in the tank. Personally, I've never heard it in mine!

 

I have heard it on all Honda's & Acura's. Normal, not to worry about

 

Turn up music.

 

Yea when I ran out of free trail of xm I notice that same sound coming from the gas tank, but I didn't really bother me.
