Side Mirror

Is there some setting to get side mirror to point down when in reverse. It was working not sure what I set wrong. Now when I reverse the side mirror (right) does not point down.

you leave the mirror adjustment selection switch on "right". only the right (passenger) side mirror will tilt when in reverse.

It is an awesome feature. I haven't scuffed a rim yet (And I live in the city!). Takes a lil while before u learn how close u can get to a curb. And no the 1st Gen did not have this feature.

Kinda wish the drivers side would do the same if I flipped the switch to the driver.

Awesome!!

I still have 2 questions for anyone who could answer:

1. Do both Automatic and Manual trannies have this feature?

2. Does the Non-Tech (Non-Navi) have this feature aswell?

Thanks,
Guys/Gals

My 6 speed MT standard has this feature. I really wish I could just leave the mirror position in the middle and have both mirrors change positions when I shift to reverse though (i.e. to see lines when I back up into a parking space). Just a minor annoyance though.

Yep, or parking on the left side of a one-way street (in North America or China).

Good information here. I was about to take mine to the dealer to get the drivers side mirror fixed since it doesn't tilt no matter where the selector switch is. Now I understand that it only works on the passenger side. Thanks all!

Just joined the TSX family after having a TL Type-S and an MDX, so the fact that the drivers mirror doesn't tilt is new to me. As usual AZ comes in handy and provides me with the information I need!

Yes, at least I hope they did. But reading it is a total different story.

Since my dealer had to truck mine in from another province two years ago, (took almost a week), I requested a copy of the owner's manual to read over before hand. I know, it's pretty anal.
