So there is another thread in Problem and Fixes section on this top but I thought I would start a new one here. Some have received a freebie fix on this so I went to my dealer and they can't do freebie but will replace the fog light kit with free labor so total is $208 (in Beaverton, Oregon). So long story short, if you get a cracked fog light , ask for a freebie, and if that won't work (like me), ask for complimentary labor.

But for added protection, why not install Lamin-X protective film on them. Cost less than $15.00 and they come in clear/tint/gunsmoke/blue or yellow colour.

how are the fog lights breaking so easily?

^From rocks and other road debris. That's how you get dings on your windshield, but of course foglights are much closer to the ground, hence greater chance of being hit with something. Also, the glass lenses cover on foglights are much thinner than say a windshield, which is why I install Lamin-X film on mine for added protection

No, you can install them afterwards. You do not have to remove the foglights for installation. BTW, use coupon code: 10off to get 10% discount when you order, std USPS mail is $4.39.

finally ordered a pair for my fogs. i ended up getting the tint ones.

if i get the blue tinted ones, will that help the fogs match the low beams better? or is it still better to get new bulbs
