Question re: 2010 TSX Tech pricing

Hey guys,

I just signed up to this site and hope to be a regular soon. I am shopping for a new TSX w/Tech package (manual transmission). So far, the dealers I've talked to in California say that the best price they can give me (before taxes & fees) is $29,000.00 (sticker price is $33,200.00). Anyone have any luck getting a car similar to this one for around $28K? I know the manuals are not in high demand and the dealers are hurting right now. I just want to know what I should expect. Thanks in advance.

$29k-ish sounds about right on the tech. There is a $1000 dealer incentive this month on the 4cyl tech models. $750 on non-tech. I just leased one tech and one non-tech in NC through Honda Finance. I'll take a look over the paperwork when I get home and give you a more accurate number.

Thank you. I'm headed to a couple dealers tomorrow. If they work with me, then I'll have one by the end of the day. If not, time to look for something else... Any other experience? I checked out the registration sticky and it was pretty useful in showing average paid prices...

Just got a black/black 2010 TSX for $29,000.00 plus taxes/registration. Sticker price was $33,600, as dealer had added mudflaps, wheel locks, cargo net. Pretty good deal I thought...

Sorry for the wait; yeah I paid $29,061 before yada-yada-etc on the tech. That also included all-weather mats and obtaining an identical car (flatbed) from another semi-local dealer; after the one we been had negotiating on was sold like an hour before I called to confirm the deal on both cars. The Griogio is a big mover in my area; I see them everywhere.

Good deal imho, grats on that. Really liking both of mine other than maybe some VOC off-gassing... USB audio > *.

Thanks. I'm loving the car so far. The manual transmission is like butter. I sold my Lotus Elise so I could have a better daily driver. I'm not used to all the toys in the tech pack!

2010 TSX w/ Tech Black on Black 4cyl Auto

I reside in NY and just purchased this month, 03/18/10. I paid 28,900 including destination, before taxes for this model. I got the deal at Springfield Acura in NJ (Tony Spano). DCH in Montclaire, NJ (Paul Wong) will match the price (they didn't have the car in stock). I would rather deal with DCH personally. I love the car and it's so worth the extra for the TECH!

Great deal, sargondizzo! I just finished waxing her... FYI, Meguiar's NXT liquid wax is amazing. I've used it on all my cars and it works great. Since my car is black, I wanted to get the wax on there as soon as possible. I still can't get over how smooth the clutch and gearbox are. I've had an RSX (2003) and Integra (1995), but this transmission is the smoothest yet. And the steering is perfectly weighted and effortless (my Lotus had no power steering). And the handling is tight but still comfortable...

Congrats on your new purchase.

You should probably start booking appointments ahead of time to have the crap speakers replaced.

Weclome to our world of Tech ownership.

Mwaaahahahahaha.

I've been offered 28450 + ttldd from a dealer in the NW suburbs of Chicago for a 2010 tech.

The thing that bothers me with the nine dealers is that there's very little room to negotiate (fourth car purchase btw). It seems like all I can work with is internet quotes and hope to haggle for throw ins.

I went for the lease deals that they currently have. I was $3000 under on my current loan on my Honda too, and they offered me either $460/mo for 36 mo. on the TSX 4 Cyl with Tech, or $567/mo for 36 mo. on the TSX 6 cyl. with Tech. That included fees and everything, so i think i got a great deal.

As far as the tech speakers, I've had my 10' TSX for about a week now and no problems yet with the speakers. They sound great!
