Possible to add the 2011 wood trim into my 2010 TSX?

Assuming it will fit, a dealer (or your dealer) will probably charge you a pretty penny for it. Not worth it in my opinion, but to each his/her own!

Just completed a DIY job putting faux carbon-fiber vinyl on the center console and I must say that it looks really good. Simple install and you will find a lot of options. Would recommend looking into it too.
I was also contemplating ordering the black piano finish available on the 2011 models but it's prone to scratches, doesn't works having a dog

What Manny has is probably a stick on application that was put on at the dealer. I saw some of them doing this when I was looking to buy in late 09. It is not OEM.

Attaching some pics, these were taken at night so the quality is not great. But both the steering wheel trim and center console pieces look great in natural light

I think the guy that did the carbon, white and wood trim had the right amount of each - had he stuck to just one. I actually think that the wood accents on the door pulls looked elegant - if it were real wood veneer.

I wouldn't do wood in a TSX. Maybe a Lexus GS or a 7 series or something, but not a TSX.
Actually, my family's '98 Camry has wood, and it's not bad. But again, that's a Camry, not a TSX.

I like faux wood if done properly.
Since there's such small number of 2G TSX on the road in Metro Vancouver, the chance of getting a wreck 2011/2012 is slim. But it will match my 6MT sport shift knob in wood trim I got from the UK.
I am a lot older than the average member here, so it's a matter of personal choice/taste.

Usually faux wood grain is a bit tacky looking but the dark/black woodgrain finish on the TSX is quite subtle and is elegant IMO.

Wood panels in cars have always been a symbol of luxury and solidity. Metal interior accents usually signify sporty. Most trims these days are overdone. What you really want is a bit of nicely polished or machined metal accents or a bit of wood trim.

Had he stuck to one design element then he would have been fine, but we all commented about how the hodge-podge of efforts were in poor taste.
The color of wood depends on the interior color. In general, a lighter interior looks best with lighter wood while a black interior looks better with darker wood.
Faux wood is tacky in any event. It is in the same category as vegetarian bacon or tofu sausage patties. Faux is just plain old fake with another name.
