Plastidip and window visors

Hey everyone I've been lurking for a while but haven't posted anything I recently purchased an 09 cpo tsx tech in grigio. I've done some minor mods so far but plan on using plastidip on the chrome trim around the windows. The main reason for me doing this is I plan on installing the oem visors. Will they be okay to stick on over the plastidip? They also have clips to secure them so I assume they will be fine but just wanted to ask. Thanks, Matt.

i recommend installing the OEM visors first, then plastidipping, i dont know exactly how they secure, but if i remember the oem ones correctly, they cover most of the window trim anyway, so just plasti what remains. i think vinyl or electric tape might suit this more minor application better, but do as you wish

I vinyled mine a while back. I would say to vinyl it would be easier than plastidip since you wont have to tape everything off.

Thanks for the replies, I attempted blackout tape last weekend but really didn't like the results especially on the rear window where the chrome is thicker. The oem visors do cover the majority of the chrome it's just the rear sides bottom and front sides exposed.
