Pearl White Pearl vs Belluva White
Hey guys, I was wondering what the difference is between Belluva white in 2012s vs Pearl Whites from 08-11.
Is Belluva white a more pure white?
I had a 2010 PWP and never really liked the color...

I would say yes. There is a guy at my job with a Pearl White Pearl, and when I parked next to his one day, it was a noticeable difference. The Belluva White is a brighter white in my opinion.

Pearl white is more creamy and beige-ier.

Belluva? Phonetically that sounds pretty close to "Beluga" which would be blue/black. That is quite different from any version of white.
If you are referring to Bellanova white, then it is a much "whiter" white than pwp. Similar colors from other manufacturers are BMW's Mineral White and Mercedes' Diamond White. Mazda also has a similar white but it isn't as metallic.

Thiswhole topic was just discussed on another thread.
Its Premium White Pearl and Bellanova White Pearl.
Bellanova is on Most '11 and '12 Models.
PWP is more of an Off White, Cream, Beige In Comparrison to Bellanova white is More of a PURE, SNOW WHITE Color.
PWP is also harder to paintmatch than Bellanova

That's why I traded in my 2010 PWP V6, among other reasons. I just could not stand that ivory/beige look. I want my white to be true white. I'm thinking of getting a 2012 SE 6 speed in bellenova white now. Why did they have to use such a fancy word for white?? they could've just called it Galcier white, Ice white, Arctic white, or something LOL

If they called it glacier white or some other descriptive color then they'd have to change the name for different countries.

I agree. I own a Bellanova TSX and it is a cleaner looking white. Almost every other white TSX I see is PWP and it just makes me appreciate mine more. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.

Finally saw Bellanova white at the dealership today. Not bad, but I don't think there is as much pearl in it. Differently a snow white which might hide some of the pearl.

I haven't been able to see PWP against Bellanova yet so I'm not familiar with the difference. Living in the desert - the PWP on my car really absorbs the red rocks nicely and gives off a warm glow, I love it!

Actually they both have a pearl effect, just the PWP is more of an ivory tone, and bellanova's more on the brighter white.

Of interesting note is that Bellanova is virtually identical to Mercedes' diamond white - a $1550 option on the E series while all the other metallics are $750.
PWP may be harder to paint match because it isn't available anymore.
