Oil percentage went up on MID????

Oil percentage went up on MID????
My MID states that my current oil life is 40 percent when my oil life was at 30 percent a few days ago????? wtf is going on?

dunno. just drive it.
check oil level by physically checking dipstick.

keep an eye on the MID.
nothing to be alarmed about

were you driving the car with a lead foot always in vtec? i noticed a 10% increase in oil life once I started driving normally with no more lead footing

they changed the algorithm then!!!!!!

I'm guessing it calculates like the "gas range" or miles to empty!
if you drive conservative then it will realize this!!!

^wish mine calculated like that.
it would be more accurate.

mine; decreases more slowly if I drive more conservative
