so the ny auto show is soon...tickets are usually 15 but they have a valentine's day special discount of TWO whole dollars...

I don't know about you, but that's almost a metrocard ride right there...so yea are we all set on going and meeting up there? if so, buy your ticket for 2 dollars cheaper. spend the two dollars on killerG...he's having a discount for services rendered that day if you see him.

are we all trying to meet before this? and if thats the case, are we all driving or whats going on with that? im down to drive into the city, but parking is almost always a bitch, i think i ended up paying for parking a block away from the javitz center last year. it would be really cool to have 10-15 CU2's roll by infront of the javitz center though

I go to the show every year...I always make the significant other drive and pay for everything... It's our little trade off for Valentine's day...

go online and search for online discounts for Icon parking there's usually a parking special for $15 the whole day..but got to come early because the parking lots fill up

..... I say go to the show and photo-op/meet in Edgewater GWB park or the West Side highway park

 

I will be there, but I am not driving there. If you guys would like I would be down for a mini meet afterwards, but i dont plan to bring my ride into the city

 

we could meet in fort lee, and park there, then go into the city using the jitney buses and go straight down in the subway, or we could carpool if some people are willing to drive, then just split toll and parking

hmm yea seems like i'm most likely going to train it out...if i even get a new car by then, it would not make sense for me to drive it to jersey and park there only to take the path back to the city. so are we all buying tickets first then deciding which day to go? and where and when to meet up?

not that i know of. 2 or 3 years ago, i bought them from a auto kiosk inside the javitz center. maybe more expensive by a few bucks, but not that much

 

You can buy at the door also. I think it makes more sense for a few of us to grab a beer before/after the show or commit to a big meet sometime during the week of the show. I know everyone personally likes to browse the show at their own pace and come/go on their time so a seperate but related event might make a bit more sense

 

that's a good idea, wouldn't want any azine members trying to flirt with the gf..might sound weird that I say that, but I've had "friends" flirt with my gf...ever since then I've been so conscious of who meets her. anyway, what's good near the javitz center? I work in union square, so I don't know much about that area.
