New member with a question !!

Hey guys.

I have a 2009 Acura TSX and recently I’ve noticed that the heat isn’t the best when I have the mode set to dash vents but as soon as I turn it to floor and vent it blows just abit warmer. It’s obviously noticeable so was curious to know if anyone else has had this issue. The heat seems to loose roughly 25% warmth when it’s sets on just the vents (on dash) and any other mode it’s fine

thanks !!

Have you measured it with a thermometer? How are you getting your numbers?

I have not used a thermometer yet. I can feel the difference by just using my hand

This is because the heat is blowing on your feet so you feel warmer. For fastest warmup of the car interior, just press Auto.

I can keep my hand on the vent and when I change it from just dash vent to dash/floor I can feel the difference on my hand. It’s warmer air from the vents when i keep it on floor and dash vs just the dash

The heat/AC in this car sucks.

Leave it on full auto and just select a temp. Its the fastest/most efficient way to get the heat going.

Then when its fully warm, crank the blower speed up manually.
