I need to purchase a new OEM tonneau cover and was looking for suggestion on vendors. Sorry if this is a newb question, but... I'm a newb.

 

you mean a car cover? a tonneau cover are for trucks which is a shell for the bed.

 

I was confused as well but if you mean a cargo cover, check with your dealer. The good thing about the dealer is you can still bargain with them. An example was when I purchased the all-weather mats and cargo liner. They wanted x amount which I figured was their list price then I simply made a comment asking why so much then boom! $60 bucks off the original price asking price. He tells me they had a ton in stock and just wanted to get rid of them, especially being a wagon accesory.

 

Unfortunately the cargo cover is not an accessory so the room to negotiate is not as great. Best price I've seen is only 20% off retail.

 

^--sounds right. Sorry to hear you need a new cover. Looks like they are $400+. Reminds me to take good care of mine.

Didn't your wagon come with a tonneau cover?

 

It was a 2012 demo with 4K miles and the cover was "lost". Price was so good I bought it anyway.

 

I realize this is an OLD thread, but I'm also looking for one. Did you find yours someplace where they would have more? Or was it just a single inventory type thing? If they might have more, care to share where you found yours?

 

In case anybody needs to know, Part # is 84400-TL4-G12ZA and they're around $400 new still.

 

just bought a used 2012 tax wagon and cargo cover is missing . Does anyone know where ca I find a used one?

 

eBay or Craigslist would be the usual suspects.
