So my genius of a girlfriend decides to play around with my automatic gearbox stick and ended up putting my car in reverse while i was driving straight going 10 mph( i was preparing to back up into my driveway)..the car kept going straight and some gears clunked when it stop( reverse gears applied when stopped?)..anyways I read up somewhere a few years back that the car computer system has a reverse inhibitor that prevents damaging the tranny when something of this nature happens..

now i just wanna hear from the geniuses of acurazine to assure me that my car is fine ..I drove my car a few miles and I don't think their is anything wrong..of course paranoia sets in when the gears start clunking when put in reverse and drive ( normal?) and no sound appears when put in neutral and park..god im a paranoid idiot..at least my john was satisfied na mean but yea thanks guys..

My guess is he was preparing to back up...but before he could fully stop, (probably slowing down) his genius gf (pics) threw the car into reverse.

 

I happen to know that a 95 Lincoln Continental will shut off the engine if you put it in reverse at 112mph. So...the TSX is prolly OK.

It's not...hard to figure out...cars on the right would've seen N.B.A. in the passenger front window.

Went to push herself back up, put her hand on the console shift, straight to "P"...EVERY light on the dashboard came on at once, then the engine shut off. I put it back in neutral, restarted, put back in Drive, then put her out on Biscayne Blvd. or Brickell Ave. somewhere.

Speeding caveat disclaimer:
It was on a new 8 lane highway in South Dade county with not another soul in sight for miles.
