Lowbeam not as white?

So yeah, I've noticed this and it's kinda bothering me. My brother has an 08 TL-S and his low beam is definitely whiter than the TSX's. The TSX has a sorta greenish warm tint to it while the TL has a more pure white with a tiiiiiiiiiiiny hint of blue in it. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? lol I might go and find a wrecked TL and snatch the bulbs from them

I wasn't too happy with the yellowness of the stock bulbs either, especially next to my white switchback leds. Snatch me a pair of bulbs too while youre at it and I'll get them from you this weekend!

Ordered a set of 6000k D2S bulbs, but after reading that it has less light output, I decided not to install them. My TL had 6000k and I have to agree, the light output is not as good as my factory TSX lights

I later threw in a set of Nokya yellow fogs and it now it makes my low beams look whiter when contrasted next to each other (to me at least)

Also, maybe the color output is due to our projectors?

I put HID fogs in because the stock ones were yellow and now they're more blue than the headlights lol

Check it kids.. HIDs color temp change as the bulbs age. OE starts off ~4300K and will get whiter with use. However as color temp changes towards white->blue (higher color temp), you will also lose some lumens (light output). Simon, your Bro's TL is 4 yrs old so the HIDs will look significantly whiter than your Mom's TSX sucka!

Right now my oem bulbs are in a box doing nothing. I need to find a way to keep them lit up outside of the car and age them, so they turn more white. Then I can put them back in because they are great bulbs.

I could make a lamp out of them!

Some. Probably around 15 of the bright red SMD, and a whole bunch of the glass strawhat white/red crappy ones that I didn't end up using.
