I use OEM all weather mats in my TSX, RDX and MDX from curry acura parts online:

http://www.curryacuraparts.com/

$100 for OEM 4 mats and the price includes shipping. The weathertech mats were overkill for the dry New Mexico weather and they covered up some of my racing pedals in all 3 vehicles.

Syracuse, NY has some pretty brutal winters. He'll definitely need the weathertech's IMO.

I have the Acura OEMs and don't recommend them. They wear out very fast (where my right heel rests when operating the gas pedal). I got the weathertechs and they are awsome and superior in mud/snow.

I agree the OEM ones are quiet flimsy,
do you use your weather tech mats all year around?

We too have the Weathertech liners. The factory mats don't capture the water and debris. We always plan on taking them out in the summer but for some reason we don't. We have the Lloyd's carpet mats and they just sit stored.

No... In the summer, I switch to the carpeted ones that came with the car. However, there is no reason for not using the weathertechs all year round, but I wanted to enjoy the carpeted ones with the nice TSX logo on them while the car is still newer

I still don't see why weather tech is worth the extra $80. Perhaps a bit deeper grooving? Do they really wear out… I mean they are rubber after all.

Besides I am not leaving either in the car full of water and muck for any period of time.

The OEM ones are not made of rubber - it looks like it's TPU but i'm not sure. In any case, it is NOT abrasion resistant and, in my case, wore out thin in less than 2 years of light use (I drive less than 12000 miles/y). The weathertechs are thin plastic (not rubber) but they are much more abrasion-resistant than the OEM ones. None of these 2 types of mats has deep grooves though.

I've got the OEM rubber ones for the winter and the carpeted ones for the summer. The rubber ones are wearing pretty badly where my heels rest, but they serve their purpose. I try to wash them every time I wash the car to keep them from getting beat up too badly.

I see you are from Syracuse. Did you price any mats at Crest?
