Keyed!!!
Yeap... bought on Friday, picked up on Tuesday, Keyed on Wednesday.
Awesome!!!
The wife noticed it on top of the car near the antenna. A nice deep scratch, putting a nice dent where it starts, and goes out about 5 inches.
Very pumped about that!!!

I feel your pain as well.. Went shopping earlier this week in the TSX, came out to see someone had hit my rear bumper and left some nasty scratches.. not notes, no nothing. A couple of months earlier, the G37 was keyed all over, front, back, left right, up, down, you name it.

Reasons like this I never like to take the TSX out into public
and leave it in any parking lot.
When I do, I blatently park across two parking spaces,
near the back of the lot.
That accomplishes two things:
1. Prevents any dings from adjacent parked cars' doors.
2. Gets lots of air all around the car, putting it "out in the open"
more so then the rest of the cars, making it much more visible.
It is kinda like leaving the light on at night at home to ward off
thieves, I try to keep it as exposed as humanly possible.
That way any vandalizer is much more easily seen near the car.
That really sucks, sorry man.

I dropped my Pilot in today at the body shop to have a scrape from a snow plow fixed, and asked about how much the damage would cost to fix on the TSX.
300-500 bucks... for a 5 inch keying. Wowsers.

yeah, me neither.
Its wierd... at first i thought it was a rock. But if it were a rock, it would've bounced off, leaving one dent and that's it.
This is a dent.. and a 5 inch long gash. And it looks deliberate.

Urgh! That is so screwed up. I'm so sorry.
Last week I came out to find a huge mini-van parked next to my '09 TSX. I always park where there are lots of open spaces. The van decided to park next to me, despite there being 6 empty spots to the side of me, then thought it would be a good idea to open their door into the side of my car. I was so pissed. Fortunately after a lot of elbow grease and polish there is now just a small dent that is only noticable if you know it's there. I was very tempted to kick their door in and slash their tires.

I agree with MMsTSX, I never take my car to a place where I leave without being in my sight, otherwise, we take our other car! The TSX is always in my sight and I swear, if I see one even touching my car, they'll get their ass beaten so badly they won't even know what hit them!! Kids or no kids, mess with my car and you'll get some serious injuries!!
I am sorry to hear about your car being keyed though, some serious ASSHOLES and LOSERS in this world!!!

WTH happened to my garage
The only thing about revenge is you never 100% know if the offender was the person you see or the person before them, ya know? (Unless you have them on video) I'm not saying I don't feel like it sometimes, but...
P.S....I never take up two spots, that always seems to attract '73 Dodge Power Wagons to park on top of my car on purpose.

I remember there was a "best ways to park" type thread here awhile ago. Good topic to revisit for all of us! Unfortunately, no one can predict the idiocy of other people and their loin fruit. Just a couple reminders for anyone visiting this thread who hasn't run into this quite common issue of people mistreating other people's cars and general advice for parking lot procedures.
1. park as far away from anyone and everyone all the time
2. all cars have drivers, not all cars have passengers. Given the choice between end spots where only one car is able to park next to you, choose the spot which only allows another car's passenger side door to possibly make contact with yours.
3. In the same vein as the advice in #2, if you can't snag a far away or end spot, try to park slightly to the left of center in any parking spot you're in. Again, putting your car closer to the left line of a vertical spot will make it less likely that the car that parks to your right will hit you with its driver's side door.
4. if you're parking downhill of a store that utilizes shopping carts, be wary.
5. move any shopping carts near your car as far away as physically possible.
6. hell, just don't park downhill from any shopping carts
7. Avoid (if possible) parking next to minivans and handicap spots. Minivans are likely to have children who are careless and handicaps spots are likely to (just a fact folks) have individuals with limited mobility. They may need to get a chair through there or need to swing their door as far out as possible to exit or enter the car. Give them their space.
8. If you're parking on the street (god help you) try to snag those great spots where no one can park in front of or behind you.
9. If you have to parallel park on the street, try to find a spot where people can park behind you but not in front of you. Generally people end up backing into parked cars behind them instead of in front of them. There's just less visibility in the rear. Also, people just suck as judging the distance behind their car's rearend.
10. If you see another car that seems to be following any of the above rules, they're just as anal as you! Park next to them! They'll hate that you parked close to them when you could park anywhere, but at least they're as crazy as you are about not messing with someone else's property and their own

My ex wife wants to be reincarnated as one of my cars or my bartenders because I take such good care of both.
