Keeping factory sub when adding aftermarket headunit 2GEN TSX 09-11
i have a problem concerning my vehicule. Recently ive installed a new double din Head unit (Kenwood DDX790) and ive lost my stock subwoofer sound. I wanted to know what will be an issue regarding that situation.
Do i need to wire the subwoofer output to the stock amp located in the rear trunk with RCA CABLE (if its that what are the wiring diagram color)
or
do i need to add a aftermarket amp with a subwoofer (poor decision lol)

I believe you just need the right wiring harness.
The harness that was used in the above thread is for a "2009 Honda accord with factory amp." It has seperate RCAs for front + rear speakers as well as subwoofer.
Please let me know if it works for you as i am planning on installing an aftermarket head unit as well pretty soon.

Did you replace the amp when you replaced the HU? i believe the stock sub has its own separate amp. Most likely you just did not wire the stock amp into your harness for the new HU.
