Hey Guys,

Happy to say, just signed on the line for a 2012 BWP TSX Base! Pretty excited and spent the whole day on here looking at all the amazing cars already out there haha.

Will be in the NYC area and hoping to learn from the older TSX crowd here. A few things I'm hoping to do in no particular order:

- CF Wrap interior panels; will be troublesome getting a clean pattern done so kinda iffy...
- JDM Honda Grille; probably the one piece I'm the most excited for since I haven't seen many around
- Smoked tails
- Something with the head lights...

Excited to be a part of the community, looking forward to chatting with everyone!

Yeah just check out build threads. See what you like, what you don't like, and make a note of all of it.

If you're more performance oriented and want mods that reflect that first, then check out the Performance section. You'll likely be interested in an aftermarket downpipe, test pipe, arguably exhaust, arguably CAI, etc; your standard I/H/E mods. People have done an RBC intake manifold on the CU2 as well.

If you're into aesthetics, check the Photograph section (or the main 2G section... threads are a bit scattered). I lowered my car before anything else, so consider coilovers or springs. I went with coilovers. Then I got a set of aftermarket wheels. I haven't done the interior LED mod yet... maybe later. I don't care much for it so I put it off. I did put on some China license plate LEDs though lol.

Me personally I'm at a crossroads. I love performance mods, but my car is an automatic lol. I have the RV6 precat delete (downpipe) to free up the exhaust, and the Hondata FlashPro using a calibration that another member shared on this board (thanks Dime Feng!). So I'm more focused on aesthetic mods now (coilovers, second set of wheels now, SE/A-Spec front underbody spoiler, Modulo side skirts, etc).

Figure out what you're interested in, check out some builds, make notes, and mod!

 

^ Oh I've definitely seen your CU2 in the Photo Gallery haha. Thanks for the encouragement. I think my starting point will be more on the aesthetic side, at least until I figure out what I can/can't touch without voiding my warranty with Acura.

Saw a Fujitsubo exhaust on here yesterday though, that sounded really crisp so maybe performance mods will start there. So excited to pick it up tomorrow!

 

Uh oh, the "w" word was mentioned. Pretty much everything will void your warranty. ceb is the warranty guy on here, who knows a ton about everything and always battles other members about whether or not they are voiding warranties.

Theres plenty of us in the NYC area, big presence on FB in a group called CU2 Squad, shoot me a PM with your FB and i'll send ya an invite to it. i think they are planning a meetup for April 4th, for the FF7 release, i'll likely be stuck at work
