not bad at all.
i think i prefer the look of the grille on the right with the full bumper replacement.
if anyone cares, some more info in japanese (ie. pricing): http://www.mugen-power.com/street/ac...rts/index.html

I seriously doubt it.
why would they?
have they ever made anyting for any other TL?
the TL is not in Japan.
anyway, I think the full bumper is certainly an improvement.
but I am disappointed.
the reason I'm disappointed is becuase the bumper and the lip
is basically the same design as the 06-08 TSX bumpers and lips.
I was hoping they would be a bit more progressive or unique.

I'm not a huge fan of the overtly aggressive body kits so this doesn't appeal all that much to me. However, one thing I see there that could be worth further exploration is the darker chrome finish on that hideous faux metal plate on the grill. If that idea could be ported back to the stock Acura grill, it might pretty up the front end a little. Or at least reduce the ugliness a bit.
I saw a new TL waiting at a light next to a Saturn the other day and it was shocking how similar that ugly ass plate makes the cars look. I don't get why Acura would want to follow the styling cues of such an ass ugly brand.

i think anyone can do a great job in painting the grill and patching it with a Mugen logo will truly save a S#*t-load of money.
desperate time calls desperate measure....but i'm sure it's made of some hi-grade carbon fiber. But who's counting LOL

Actually I'm one of those people. Mugen > Honda > Acura.
For me, Acura doesn't mean anything upscale until it spreads to the global and becomes a real tier 1 brand.
Mugen Motorsports (M-TEC Co., Ltd) is a company formed by the son of Honda's founder. It is engine tuner and parts manufacturer closely associated with Honda. As a Honda fan, I just like Mugen stuffs on my Honda. And I don't treat it as an ordinary aftermarket brand name.

It's just a name. The implication of that name being on the grill is that there are lots of other Mugen parts behind it. To pay a premium for a name, whatever that name is, is just dumb. I'm not saying their parts are not worth it, but if the grill is the only Mugen part on the car, it's pretty lame.

It looks cool for some, but it looks a bit weird to me. Looks like Mugen Power Plenum . Mugen styling seems to be too extreme and arkward after M-TEC took it over. I prefer the Modulo front end over the Mugen as it is more aerodynamic:

actually not only did mugen make the grill, but they also made the exhaust, the bumpers, sideskirts, the ventilated window visors, brake rotors, suspension, oil filter, engine oil, and brake fluid....so i promise u mugen is farrrr from lame...mugen tunes and races honda cars in super gt championships and also sells aftermarket parts to enthusiasts...so if u have mugen parts on your car, you are a badass.

With the unique creases and lines in this car I was hoping a body kit for it would compliment the lines, make it really mean and aggressive, the mugen (based only on these 2 pics so far) looks kinda chunky to me.
I'd like to see more pics, and no doubt seeing it in other colors will help too, especially with that full bumper replacement, that is pretty nice. Wheels look awesome too.
That wing is freakin ridiculous though, I'm sorry. I don't mind it on the Mugen Civic Type RR but on a sedan that size it's just obnoxious.

DUDE IM EXCITED!!! When does this come out!? haha i love the aggressive look!
hmm... will the aero front bumper and the MUGEN "left side" work together? or do you need the factory bumper and the bottom is an add on? I really want to jump on it! I wonder how the exhaust sounds like too!
Do any of you plan on getting it? group buy if we can? I'm really interested... all I have is tints, and minor LED interior lighting =/ OOHH!! and are those suspension coilovers? hehe =)

According to the Mugen website, its not out until April 09.
I love the replacement bumper, skirt and rear. Not a fan of the wing though. Though I wonder if the rear lip will make the exhausts look a bit too recessed.
