Exclamation I Failed to change my Fogs. Help?

I cant get those stupid clips off...whenever i try it seems like i am breaking them. There is an inner circle and an our circle, am i supposed to pry between the outer and inner circle or between the outer circle and the bottom surface of the car?

I tried for a while but sucked so hard and gave up I assume im doing something wrong.

Anyone have a tip for this? Trying to put in nicer bulbs down there

between the outer and inner. the clips are indeed very fragile, and I've ruined a lot of them from all the times I've had to take off the bumper. Apparently there is some special tool for this but I just use a flathead screwdriver, stick it in and and wiggle it (imagine a see-saw motion when you are looking down on the flathead).

i know what u mean, sometimes i use two flat headed screw drivers, one on each side, just so i dont break them.

and keep in mind, the first time is ALWAYS the toughest

Yeah they suck. Oh and be sure to remember which ones went where as they are not all the same size and composition (some have some metal pieces to them). I got the tool from marcus at heeltoe and it works well for the ones that it can reach (has the small cut outs on the outer ring of the clip). For the others just go slow and don't try to just pry it in one shot. I hope a mechanic never has to really work on my car because I am damn sure they will break a lot of them and probably not replace them.

^ yeah, +1 on that. i didnt take note of that so now the ones with metal pieces and without are all mixed together

and also, there is one on the left bumper and one on the right bumper, (shoudl be the first clip) that's longer than the rest. put those back in the same place!

From what i remember the ones without the cut outs on the outer ring has marks on the inner ring. make sure you line up your flatblade with these marks. The first time i tried taking it off i had a hard time then i found those marks and it went off a lot easier.
