How To Remove Emblems?

Hey guys,

I read some threads but I haven't had a clear answer on some things.

For the front emblem can I just heat and use dental floss or is there something I need to remove.

For the rest, how do I go about putting on new ones.

I have the Black Chrome Heeltoe ones coming in next week!

Regards

For the front you have to either break off the emblem or remove the bumper and pull out the 2 nuts that hold the emblem in place. The new emblem will require 2 nuts as well.

For the rest, you can use masking tape to outline the shape of the existing emblems before flossing them off. Then, just line up the new emblems within the tape outline. Voila.

Make sure you clean the surface before you put on a new one otherwise it might fall off. For the rear.

As they've already mentioned ^
Pretty much for the front one, you have to snap off those two clips in order to remove it. Your new badge should have clips to fit into the same place otherwise, just break off the clips on your new badge too and use double sided tape.

Likewise with the rear, use tape to outline where your old badge sits and once you've removed it and cleaned it, line your new badge up and used the supplied tape/double sided tape.

Edit: Look at post #61. This is what we mean by outlining the previous badge (and snapping off the clips and using double sided tape).

Rear: Use a hair dryer to heat the rear, floss emblem off, goo-gone the glue and your good to go.
