What is the heaviest thing that you have put on the fold-down rear seat without damage? I'm hoping that it can stand at least 50 lbs.

Someone with your screen name asking about weight limits is kinda funny.

If you have to transport something really heavy, you should be able to remove the seat backs easily.

50 lb. is not that heavy. Should be no problem at all.

It can definitely hold 50lbs.

I was sitting all over them when I was installing my Eibach springs in the rear, and I'm 160lbs.

I put my 4 stock rims and tires in the back with the seats folded down. Two on top of the folded down backseat and two in the trunk.

Great! I'd like to be able to put a 30 pound dog (in her carrier) on the folded down seat and secure it using the metal rings in the trunk.

I'm over 200lbs, and I've sat all over them. They end up supporting themselves on the seat cushions... No real heavy duty pressure goes on the rotaion points.
