Smile Hi guys, new TSX owner here

Bought a used one and was curious if anyone can tell me something about it? I noticed that my rear bumper is different then stock. Looking forward to progressing it here with you guys! Here are some pictures I snapped of it.

welcome to the forum! gotta love it when your first post includes pics of your car

I'm going to assume your car is model year 2010 or under, and that the rear bumper hasn't been repainted. I can't really tell from the pics, but is there a colour mismatch between your rear bumper and the rest of your car's paint? If yes, you have a 2012+ TSX Special Edition rear bumper, which comes in NH788P (Bellanova White Pearl). If no and the colour is a perfect match, then you have a JDM Type S rear bumper, which comes in NH624P (Premium White Pearl). Assuming the worst, your car was probably in a rear end collision and required a new bumper cover, hence why you got this new bumper. But hey, it could be the case that the previous owner simply likes the SE/Type S rear bumper more than the stock one and actually swapped them.

You have a pre 2011 car with a 2011+ rear SE bumper, somehow.

Correct, it was in a rear accident and bumper was replaced, unsure if paint is mismatched due to a fresher paint job or different color code. And it is an 09. Thanks for clarifying! I am thinking about getting a front lip and slamming it with some wheels. What are the front lip options for the tsx? I have seen like...one lol, but maybe I haven't looked hard enough?

The front lip for that bumper is ugly IMO , to each their own, best bet is to get a SE from bumper to match the rear and get those small lips or just get the sports bumper kit

You can get the JDM Type S lip (expensive/rare btw... people usually just get the replica), or do what Cu2Suspect suggested. There's also the JDP Engineering front lip.

Congrats, I just got my first TSX to about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love the car. bought it used, base model 20,500 miles for $18,500. I think I got a pretty good deal considering how new the car feels and I would have to spend that much just to get a brand new civic.

Congrats man! That's a nice car. I have the 2012 special edition and yes that is my same bumper. I like it a lot. Like everyone is saying, the SE front bumper compliments it well.

$18,500 is a steal for that mileage. What year is it?
