So without going into specifics part of my bumper(the bottom left side) got scraped up about 6 inches in width and 4 inches in height. How much will it run me to paint it?

 

it would be best if you talked to a body shop.

as we can only GUESS the approximate value in damages; where as a body shop can give you a closer estimate on how much it will be to fix.


plus, without pictures how do you think we know how bad the damage is?


to get a full bumper re-spray is about ~$250.

 

you didnt even tell us if its the front or rear bumper lmfao. it'll likely be $3-500 for a full repaint of the bumper

My rear bumper respray was quoted to be around $460.

 

if you can live with those prices, i would look into the aero bumper. i believe it comes for 5-600 painted from the factory. thats if you have an 09-10 though, the 11-13 needs the 09/10 grill to fit the aero bumper i believe

 

or just get a lip to cover upthe scratches like i did

that's exactly where my scratch is, the damage isn't nearly as extensive though.

 

A lip will cover that. Or a more fun option would be aero front.

Some punk kids wearing sandpaper shoes thought it would be a funny prank to repeatedly kick other people's bumpers.

 

aero bumper only fits 09-10 unless you get a new grille too LOL

 

doesnt help that the bumper was previously painted and the paint is flaking off easy.

 

I have scratches near that that same area. My lip covered it up nicely, 'till a wild polarbear ripped it off. Now you can see the scratches again.
