Grill scratches very easy
Although I love my 09, I'm already having a part of the grill replaced...the u-shaped dull-silver piece below the "chrome" piece with the acura badge on it. It had two perfectly straight scratches in it, exposing the black plastic underneath. Both are about 2-3 inches long, right where the piece meats the bumper. At first I thought that someone must've bumped into me, but then the second appeared and was almost identical, and there are no other scratched or dents. If someone hit me, I'd think that I'd see something else.
Anyway, I'm wondering if they could've been caused by the high-pressure water at a touchless car-wash. I've never gone to a car wash that touches the car, but in a pinch I've gone through a few touchless ones.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
Once it starts peeling, the silver paint comes off VERY easy...its a tiny layer that peels more every time you wash your car.
