Any other users out there who chose the Forged Silver Metallic and why?

Personally I didn't like it at first but then when it was time to choose the color I fell in love with it and got that over Bellanova White and Vortex Blue.

I'm honestly surprised this color is so rare.. it's pretty badass!

I still wish I would have found a Basque Red Pearl when I was looking though... that's probably my favorite color.

I barely see the color but it just looks so good. It's so good looking that its hard to understand it sometimes lol I'm not a big fan of reds but Basque Red Pearl is pretty bad ass!

I have Forged Silver also . I like color because depending on light it looks different . With a lot of sunshine it looks silver with a hint of blue. When at dusk it has a lavender hue to it. When cloudy out it has a gray look to it . Forged Silver came out in 2011 with TSX and TL people either love it or hate it . Acura dropped it on TL in mid 2011 and added Silver Moon to both TSX and TL. Forged Silver was aviable in TSX for 2012 in limited Quanities . A lot of dealers don't stock it or only get one or two a year. My area has a few dealers that stock two or three a month . I had to wait a month for mine to come in as dealer had a run on that color and was sold out. They only had one more for 2012 coming in before 2013 were due in. I bought tech model and was lucky enough to get one that had no restrictions on Navagation operation . IMOP Forged Silver is better than Silver Moon and some of the other silvers out there. yeah dealers around my area have some in forged silver but then they really don't sell that color. i usually see white and black in my area. i wanted to get the blue but when i saw the color at my dealer in wayne,nj i had to get this lol

 

Just got my Forged Silver last week (black interior with tech)
I was not crazy about the color at first because I wanted something darker than Silver Moon but lighter than Graphite and the Forged at first seemed more blueish than grayish. It's a '12 with 6k miles, flawless and compared to everything else I was looking at this was the best vehicle. I bought it and when my wife saw it under my garage lights at night, she thought it it looked very purple. It's very true this color changes depending on the lighting conditions and it's best in bright sunlight. One plus about it is the rarity factor - still figuring out how much I like it...

I have that color as well. I like the OP didn't like the color but I loved the deal I was getting more.

Now I like how the car looks to be different colors in different light levels.

 

I love the color because like the rest of you it changes color. I got offered it at the last minute and liked it better than the silver metallic.

The only light colors for the wagon are white and fsm. My last two vehicles were white, so I decided to try fsm. I think it looks best in bright sunlight. I just checked the Acura website. I didn't know they were offering the wagon in milano red instead of basque red for 2013. Interesting.

 

haha I know everyone hates on Open Road but they gave me a better deal than Park Ave lol. Never went to Ramsey but I will for my next car!

The biggest decision for me was the Graphite Luster vs the Forged Silver. In person, both colors are stunning especially in the bright Florida sun. In the sun I was actually leaning towards the GLM but the true test was during sunset and night, when the GLM basically looked black. Next to a CBP, you really could not tell the difference at night. The FSM, just kept changing and I loved that! It's definitely silver in bright light but as the sun's angle changes, you def get hues of baby blue, blueish lavender, light metallic blue, someone mentioned periwinkle, yes, it's there, even a teal shade comes thru at times.
