Faulty Electrical Problems in the tsx? Help!

My wife's 2010 tsx is acting real weird now.

About 6 months ago, we replaced the battery and starter and that's when things started to happen. After a month or so, whenever we started her car all the dash lights would turn on and go away. Then about 2 weeks ago, the turn signals were going crazy. She for work and it was fine. 5 minutes into her drive when she had to turn left, that's when it started happening. First, it was signaling left the whole time. It wouldnt turn off. She parked and turned off the car. When she started it back up, the left was still blinking, then the right and it wouldnt stop. She turned off the car again, waited for a few minutes and it went away. The rest of the drive (20 mins) was good. No problems after. Then today, she was driving to get gas (5 mins), parked and when she started the car again, the dash lights all turned on. She then noticed that the steering wheel was hard to turn left or right. So she parked, waited a few minutes and started it up again with the steering back to normal. What could it be?

Oh and about a month ago, the car was cranking for a long time before turning over. Would go away after driving it for a bit.

Hmm. That explains why everything is acting weird. I notice that this stuff only happens on our super cold mornings. The mornings when its not that cold, the car seems fine.

Take it to a autozone/advanced auto parts, they can check the electrical readings.

Alternator is a good guess, but that's all it is. Take it to your mechanic and have it checked out.

Agree w/ fbt. It could be as simple as bad battery connection or corroded battery cable. Diagnosis is required!

good luck

Sounds like a problem with the electronic power steering take it to the dealer and have them check for codes and reset the steering module
