Driving hard...

Just curious on this one.

I read another thread and members said they redline or hit vtec only 1-2 times a day and some members do it rarely.

I love driving this car at 4000-6000rpm...I give about 70% throttle to reach there at multiple opportunities (10 times a day), rarely flooring the pedal to redline....

Am I damaging the car? Seems like a waste to drive this car like a Corolla...

Probably not, just need to fill up and change oil more often. Depending on when/how you do it, would also wear out the tires and brakes faster.

No harm done. Other than burning a bit more gas and more wear on tires. I do that (4-6K rpm) on a daily basis as I love to hear the sweet sound of the CTE Icebox in my car at those rpm range.

Enjoy your car and welcome to the forum.
