Hi all,

Hoping for a little bit of clarity as my door locks stopped working in my 09 TSX.

I have read all the articles on the 1G TSX door lock actuators and the repair video's, but dont see much on the 2G. Local parts store is quoting close to $500 for an actuator so wanted to be sure if this is an issue in 2G as well. Any other troubleshooting I can do?

Symptoms:
Remote FOB doesn't open trunk, lock/unlock doors
When using the key all is ok.
Trunk opens via "push button" on drivers door.

If none of the locks work I doubt it's an actuator problem. Does the master lock/unlock button work for any of the doors?

 

the button on the key fob doesn't work for doors, trunk or panic. Changed batteries and tried other fob..nothing

When I manually lock/unlock with the key it's fine

The master switch on the driver's door will lock/unlock all doors.
