Cupholder LEDs are pretty sweet, I'm considering it.
But as for the original topic, I was looking for some feedback from anyone who painted, wrapped, or replaced their trim. I reeeaallyy want the black OEM replacement trim.. but hate to spend $180 on it. I'm skeptical that paint or wrap will give the clean OEM look and feel that the replacement trim will give.
Anyone have experience with this? If so pics would be great.

Although plastidip is much much easier to apply and the finish looks good, after about a month or 2 I had to remove it due to it being hard to clean and would easily scratch over the smallest things touching it.
I have now vinyled the trim with matte black and it took me a good few hours to do, due to the fact that my OCD (or CDO.. 😁 kicked in and I wanted to make it look perfect and just like the OEM black trim. I gotta say I'm very happy with the outcome. I've had it on for over a month now and no issues at all! No scratches, easy to clean, and it looks just like the OEM trim. I'll attach some pictures in a bit to show you what it looks like.

I painted my aluminium and it came out really well, people can't tell its painted even.
I had it plastidipped at one point which was a stupid idea, don't do that.

Mine are dipped in the pictures I took to make this DIY lol still dipped but I want to apply real paint. Just been lazy as of late... or really more occupied with gaining more ponies!

What kind of paint did u use exactly? I prefer painting my trim as it is easy to get all the corners without creases and shit.
