Question Car Rust

I have a 2010 Tech less than a year old. I just noticed on the front hood and car truck area there are two paint chips. Anyway, it looks like there are some rust marks happening. I read the Acura paint is not the best but what are my options right now. First, are they really rust marks or is that color normal if the paint come off. Secondly, if it is rust and i take it back to the dealer will they fix it? If it's not rust am i out of luck and have to use touch up paint?

Looks like rust to me Sounds like a rock chip hit the front. If the metal's exposed you should try and get some touch-up paint on it ASAP, otherwise it'll rust pretty quickly.

as the others have posted-looks like a rock chip which was deep enough to cause rusting.,This will not be covered by warranty.

3m clear bra your front part of the hood. won't stop all chips, but will prevent most of them.

I do have a clear bra on the front and rear bumper. I got that last summer and it cost me $800. I was planning on doing the hood this summer. I believe they quoted me $400.
