Can Navigation display ETA?

This question may have been asked before. The most basic navigation systems -- in cars and off the shelf -- will display a time of arrival, not just how long til you get there. Is there really no way to display this? Seems like a pretty easy thing to do: take the current time and add or subtract the current computed time to destination.

this is pretty much one of the many factors which lead me to purchase a base model instead. you can buy a decent Garmin gps with FM traffic updates, text to voice, ETA, etc etc for under $200 nowadays.

You can't compare FR traffic to XM traffic. I used both and XM is Wat way better. You also can't beat the built in look.

yeah it does show time to destination...and it adjusts to how fast your moving....and you cannot compare a garmin to the factory navi.

I agree - I love my built-in navi. That said, I just bought my wife a Garmin 265WT and the fm traffic includes some major city streets, not just highways like my navi, which is handy.

i see the built-in feature to be a drawback. i like portability for when you travel without your TSX. I think the graphics look nicer on a Garmin too...idk maybe i'm just biased because I used a Garmin before I bought my TSX

Same. My Garmin has a tendency to fall off the windshield too. I always have to try to anticipate it so I can catch it before it bangs off the dash -.-
