Back from the dead (dead of winter that is)

Tori's has now been full detailed. Clayed, buffed, sealed, and waxed. Pardon my absence the last few months. My excuses are work, family, and of course Winter. Who's in a car mood given those?

Tori just crossed 5000 miles last week. Still my favorite daily driver. In these pics, she's still sporting her winter tires and rims. Will swap out next week.

I know, me too. But alas, I must live with the fronts being clear. Stupid Iowa laws.

?? What do you seal wheels with?

Ever use or see 22ple rim metal Polish? I have a bottle of this someone gave me to try; just wondering if you have any experience with it/

THX.

Thanks rob. Not familiar with the 22ple polish. But for rims and everything chrome, I use Opticoat2.0. It's a permanent clearcoat that you apply like a sealant. It's the best I've used. It literally puts an ultra slick clearcoat on top of whatever surface you apply. Permanent. You never have to wax again, while repelling brake dust and other particulates from sticking to surface.

What size rim is that?

I like the split fork/mesh look, but the dark makes it seem small-ish. ?? Either way, it's very very well maintained. Congratulations.

Thanks a lot. The supernatural hybrid has a little bit more shimmer to it. It's also a bit slicker to the touch. Both are durable, with great wetness to its look. I interchange both often

What products do you use to clean the wheel wells? Do you use any dressing on the plastic inside the wheel wells?

Updates... removed the winter rims and put the stockers back on for summer. Also coated her in CG 50/50.

Yeah you're not the only that's said that... my buddies want me to swap the winter rims for the OEM ones.

Still debating that one. I love the OEM's.

Not that my opinion means anything but I think your TSX looks amazing!! I had a 2009 with the full aerokit (White) and loved the car. Now, no offense but the two sets of pics (winter rims and OEM rims) shows the clear winner in my opinion. OEM all the way!! Its funny how I saw the first sets of pics and was like "Meh" and then saw the seconds sets of pics with the OEM wheels and was like "WOW".

Again...just my 2 cents.
