I think I may change out my speakers and add an amp and replace the factory sub in my non tech car. I am going to dynamat the doors as well. Any body had the door panels off yet?

It looks like 6.5 seperates in the front doors and probably an 8 inch sub in the rear deck. I may make an enclosure for the aftermarket sub to sit in the oem location.

Any body know anything to be aware of on these?

Make sure you post your findings. I think the sub definately needs an enclosure. Mine is a bit boomy.

 

Building an enclosure around the torsion bar trunk springs will be difficult, but it can be done.
